Privacy notice

SV REDES Y SOLUCIONES INTEGRALES PARA EDUCACIÓN Y CAPACITACIÓN, S. DE R.L. (hereinafter, “weknow”), with registered address at Calle Nebulosa No. 2870, Colonia Jardines del Bosque, C.P. 44520, Guadalajara, Jalisco, acts as the data controller and is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with Articles 15, 16, and other applicable provisions of the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP).

Purposes of data processing

The personal data collected will be used for the following purposes:

Primary purposes (necessary for the contractual relationship)

  • Fulfillment of obligations arising from service, commercial, employment, or other contractual relationships.
  • Provision of contracted services, including talent management platforms, learning management platforms, and custom e-learning content development.
  • Preparation and maintenance of records and documentation related to the contractual relationship.
  • Processing of payments related to services, salaries, or other compensations.
  • Compliance with applicable legal obligations, including labor, tax, and social security regulations.
  • Guaranteeing user access to and proper functioning of the platforms.

Secondary purposes (not essential for the contractual relationship)

  • Marketing, advertising, and commercial prospecting.
  • Statistics, usage metrics, and service quality assessment.
  • Communication of company policies and updates.

You may object to the processing of your personal data for secondary purposes at any time, without affecting the provision of contracted services.

Personal data collected

weknow may collect identification and contact data, including:

  • Full name, age, date of birth, gender, marital status, CURP, and RFC.
  • Social security number, address, phone number, and email.
  • Copies of official identifications and tax data.
  • Banking and income-related information.
  • Handwritten signature and other information necessary to fulfill the purposes described.

weknow does not collect sensitive personal data unless required by law or contract. In such cases, your express written consent will be obtained.

Data may be collected through physical, electronic, or digital means, including our platforms, email, website, social media, instant messaging, telephone, written contracts (physical or electronic), among others.

Role of clients in data collection

When providing subscription services for talent and learning management platforms, weknow may host user data solely to comply with contractual obligations.

However, clients (individuals or entities contracting our services) also have access to their users’ data. In this regard:

  • Each client is responsible for having its own privacy notice in compliance with the LFPDPPP.
  • Clients must implement administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard the data they access.
  • weknow is not responsible for the processing, use, or decisions made by clients regarding their own users’ data, beyond the legal obligations applicable to weknow as a technology provider.

weknow undertakes to implement appropriate security measures and ensure proper processing of personal data hosted on its platforms.

Third-party API integrations

Our platform integrates with Google and Microsoft to facilitate access and enhance user experience:

  • Google/Microsoft Sign-In (OAuth2): collection of email address, full name, and profile picture (if available), used exclusively for user authentication.
  • Google Drive: access limited to files explicitly selected by the user for upload.
  • YouTube: integration of videos selected by the user as educational content.

Access is strictly limited to authorized data, and permissions may be revoked at any time through Google or Microsoft security settings.

Data transfers

In accordance with Article 37 of the LFPDPPP, your personal data may be transferred without requiring your consent to:

  • Subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers working with weknow.
  • Clients contracting our platforms, solely for the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Competent authorities that request it under applicable law.

For transfers not covered under Article 37, your express consent will be required. Failure to object will be understood as tacit consent. In the case of international transfers, weknow will adopt contractual measures to ensure compliance with the Law.

Security measures

weknow applies reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, in accordance with Articles 60–68 of the Regulations of the LFPDPPP.

ARCO rights and revocation of consent

You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (ARCO Rights) regarding the processing of your personal data, as well as revoke previously granted consent.

Requests must be submitted through:

  • Written submission: at the address indicated at the beginning of this Privacy notice.

Requests must include:

  • Full name and address or another means for receiving notifications.
  • Documents proving identity or legal representation.
  • Clear description of the personal data subject to the right being exercised.
  • Any information that facilitates the location of the data.

weknow will respond within a maximum period of 20 business days, extendable once for justified reasons. 

If you believe your request has not been properly addressed, you may contact the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI).

Updates

This Privacy notice may be amended due to legal, business, or internal policy changes. Updates will be published in the Privacy notice section of our official website: https://we-know.net.
